I had the pleasure of receiving Karen Witemeyer's newest release "Short -Straw Bride" in the mail this week. I started it last night and finished it in less than 24 hours! What a wonderful read! The heroine, Meri, is sweet, and loyal, and feisty! The hero, Travis, is honorable and rugged and fiercely loyal. What a great combination. Could not put this story down, yet I hated for it to end.
